GOOD NEWS CLUBS!  Yes, our Good News Clubs are still happening.  We have been blessed by churches opening their doors and letting Child Evangelism Fellowship® do the clubs, so the Gospel is still being presented to the children in our communities. In December, we had five new children start coming to the clubs. Starting in January, the clubs will resume, and as of right now, we are planning on four more clubs that should be starting in Mears, Ferry Twp., Fremont, and a Zoom club.

We are blessed that four of our teen missionaries from last summer are able to help us with the clubs this year. Two of them are teaching in White Cloud, and two are helping with the club in Shelby. It is so encouraging to see the young people reaching out and wanting to serve God in this capacity.

Please pray that all the clubs will be able to get up and running and that children will come. Please pray that children’s hearts will be opened to the truth and souls will be saved.

Would your church, or you as an individual, let God use you in hosting a Bible club in your community so more boys and girls can be reached? “How then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” (Romans 10:14-15).

Do you have those beautiful feet?

We were so exited for the nine teens that attended our Christian Youth in Action® held locally last summer. We are happy to know that six of them are planning to go to CYIA™ again this year. We are now looking for more teens that will be willing to working with us this summer to reach the children in the Shoreline Chapter. The dates for this year’s training are June 20—July 2. It is planned to be held at Grace Christian University. If you would like more information, you can contact us.

International Conference

Because of COVID-19, the International Conference for 2021 will not be held in person. In place of it, they are planning to do a virtual conference. This way, no one will have to travel, yet still be able to attend. The dates will still be the same, May 3-8. We were told that there will still be some kind of cost, but it will not be as much as in-person. The staff is still planning to participate in this conference. Pray for our international team as they plan this big event.

Summer is a short five months away (yes, we are counting down, it’s cold here)! We already have several summer missionaries who are working on applications for training and are eager to teach! Now is the time to begin thinking and praying about hosting a 5-Day Club® in your community this summer. We are open to scheduling your club or VBS early if you already have a week in mind.

The Only Christmas Party

While many Christmas parties and events were canceled this year, we were still able to meet with a small group of our staff and volunteers to celebrate the birth of our Savior and everything God did for the Shoreline Chapter in 2020. We had a nice meal, fun games, and most importantly great fellowship with our friends.
