Good News Clubs
After-school Good News Clubs meet once a week on public school grounds, offering children a fun, welcoming space to hear the Gospel and ask questions about faith. Using engaging CEF Press® visuals, high-energy worship songs, Scripture memory challenges, missions stories, and review games, teachers bring each Bible lesson to life and help kids hide God’s Word in their hearts. By connecting right after the final bell, we reach families who might never step into a church and plant seeds of faith in young hearts.
Our vision is to launch Good News Clubs in every elementary and middle school across our four-county region. Partnering with school administrators and mobilizing volunteers, we aim to start new clubs in underserved areas, strengthen existing ones with fresh training and resources, and follow up with families for deeper discipleship. As each child trusts Christ, their entire family and community experience the hope of Jesus.
You can join this mission by leading small groups, teaching songs or memory verses, coordinating crafts and games, or simply praying for our clubs and the children who attend. Every hour you invest and every prayer you offer helps spark faith and change eternity through Good News Clubs. Contact our local CEF chapter today to discover how your gifts can make an eternal difference.
5-Day Clubs
Each summer, local families open their backyards, parks, community centers, and other welcoming spaces for CEF’s 5-Day Clubs. Over five fun-filled days, children dive into Bible lessons and missionary stories, sing lively songs, and play exciting games and activities—all designed to point them to Jesus. The heart of every club is the clear, age-appropriate presentation of the Gospel, giving boys and girls the chance to hear who Christ is and why He matters.
Our 5-Day Clubs combine high-energy teaching with hands-on learning. Every session uses colorful CEF curriculum, object lessons, and other activities to reinforce the day’s biblical truth. Lessons invite kids to ask questions and share their thoughts, while action-packed games help to anchor the lesson in memory and build friendships that often last well beyond the week.
These clubs wouldn’t happen without host families who feel called to share Jesus in their own neighborhoods. If you have a heart for children and a space to gather, we’d love to partner with you. Contact our local CEF chapter to learn how you can become a host family or volunteer—together, we’ll bring the hope of Christ to countless young lives this summer.
Fairs & Festivals
Children and families naturally gravitate toward fairs, festivals, and seasonal celebrations. From summer carnivals to holiday markets, these gatherings buzz with excitement and curiosity. Our local CEF chapter steps into that energy, setting up brightly colored booths, fun activity stations, and welcoming smiles that draw kids and parents in for an unforgettable experience.
Between laughter on the carnival rides and the taste of fresh popcorn, there’s a perfect opening to share the life-changing message of Jesus. Through short, interactive Gospel presentations, children hear how much God loves them and are invited to respond in faith. These moments, woven into the fabric of community fun, turn ordinary fair visits into spiritual milestones.
