Director’s Address
The Lord is continuing to do a great work in our clubs. We are so thankful for all the children who have started attending. During the month of November, six of our clubs had new children. This is so exciting to see. There was a total of 11 new children. The most exciting was to hear that six children prayed to receive Christ as Savior. This is always exciting to hear, and the most important. Praise the Lord for these children! Christmas break is coming soon, so pray that more children will start attending before the break. We were also excited that more people got involved in clubs. This was an answer to prayer, but we are still praying for more people to get involved so we can start new clubs.
I had the opportunity to go to Cornerstone Christian Academy to speak in chapel. This was the second time I’ve been able to speak there this school year. There was a total of 24 students in attendance, and all seemed to enjoy the lesson. I plan to be there again this month and in future months.
Now that we are in the month of December, our office will be closed Fridays through the end of March. The office will definitely be closed on December 24–25 and January 1. If you need to come to the office during the last two weeks of December, please call first to make sure someone is there.
It has been a month and a half since Wendy had her back surgery, and she is slowly improving. She is still in the back brace, and the plan is for her to be in it until the end of January. She has a doctor’s appointment on December 13, where they will be taking x-rays to see how well her fusion is healing. Pray that this appointment will go well.

The Return
For everyone interested in our Christian Youth in Action® training, The Return is December 27 at South Church in Lansing from 10 a.m. to
3 p.m. The cost will be $4 to cover food that will be provided. Come have fun and fellowship with future, past, and present summer missionaries. If you are planning to come, please let our office know.
We have scheduled a Teaching Children Effectively™ course during the month of February. It will meet on Tuesday nights and Saturdays. There is a flyer attached that gives the dates, times, and location.
We are planning to have a Good News Club® Quick Start training sometime in March. Be watching future newsletters for this training.
Needs
- We are currently behind in our budget for the year. Pray that the Lord will provide the funds needed for the rest of this year.
- We would like to be able to send our staff to the Child Evangelism Fellowship National Conference to be held in May 2019. The total cost will be $2,000 which covers registration and travel. Pray that we will be able to raise the needed funds .
