Praise the Lord for such a good year in our Good News Clubs.  The month of March is where a lot of our clubs start wrapping up for the year. But this year, because of COVID-19, all our clubs came to an abrupt stop early. During the month, we were able to get children to start attending club. We also saw six receive Christ as Savior. We are very thankful for all our teachers and helpers who helped make this year’s school ministry such a great success. I am very thankful for all the good reports that I have received from the teachers and helpers. I hope they all plan to come back again next year for another exciting club season.

Because the clubs had to stop early, the International Headquarters has encouraged us to do virtual clubs for the boys and girls that attended. This is something that we have been looking into, and because of the COVID-19, we feel that we need to move forward in this new style of Good News Club^®. We have on the schedule for April 7 to have a virtual Good News Club on the web for our clubbers that attended this year. We are excited to try something new to reach more boys and girls with the Gospel. Please be praying for our staff as we prepare for this launch of a Good News Club on the web. Pray that we will have children that will want to participate. Pray for our staff as we are working on this, and that we are able to use technology to share the Gospel with the children.

International Conference

Because of the COVID-19 breakout, a lot of things have been postponed or completely cancelled. The same has happened with the International Conference. The International Headquarters has chosen to postpone the International Conference to May 2021. We are very sad that this had to happen, but we know it was a decision that needed to be done.

At this point, we all plan to attend Conference next year.

 

 

Summer Ministries

Despite what is going on in our country today, we are still moving forward with our summer plan

s for ministry. We are still looking for people who have children in their area that need to be reached. At this point, we already  have some clubs scheduled for this summer. Down below are the weeks that we are looking for people to have clubs. If you see a week that is good for you, please contact us to let us know.

We are also looking for volunteers to help us in our fair and festival ministry. If you have an hour or a day that you can come out and help us this summer please let us know.

Banquet

On March 7, we had our annual banquet at New Era Bible Church. Our theme was Every Child, Every Nation, Every Day. We were emphasizing Child Evangelism Fellowship^® as a worldwide mission organization. We showed videos of what the Lord has been doing in other parts of the world. There was a total of 125 people in attendance. All had a great time.

Summer Missionaries

Money is coming in for our summer missionaries. As of the end of March, $2,787 has come in. We are still in need of $8,213 to cover the expenses of all our summer missionaries. Six of our teens will be attending our Christian Youth in Action^®, and all are excited to go. Please pray that we will get the rest of the funding needed for this summer.
