Director’s Address
The month of January was a very busy and profitable month. In our Good News Club® (GNC®) ministry, we were able to start a club in a school district that Shoreline CEF has never been in. Because of the weather, the club was postponed for two weeks. When we were able to get the club started, we had nine kids come the first week. The principal was very excited that we were able to get this club started. The following week, we had two more new ones. Two churches in the area were very excited that we were able to get started. The school district has two other elementary schools where we hope to start clubs in the future. Out of the clubs that were already going, five of them showed an increase in enrollment. One of our clubs went from 18 enrolled to 33 enrolled. During the last two weeks, this club has had as many as 26 in attendance. Overall for the chapter, we had 31 new children enroll in all our clubs. Praise the Lord!! We were also able to get a Teaching Children Effectively™ (TCE™) class going in Fremont. We did things a little differently with this particular class because three out of the four students are homeschoolers. So instead of having it once a week for 8 to 12 weeks, we are having it twice a week, and meeting on two Saturdays for three weeks. So far, our students have done two of their practicums and they all did very well. They are now working on the final practicum which is the Bible lesson. Three of our students are showing interest in going to summer training, and helping in our summer ministries. Be praying for our students that they will finish strong. Our first pie fellowship was at First Baptist Church of Hart. The attendance was very small, but the group that was there had a great time. Thomas Bump did our devotional, and really challenged the group. Wendy, Virginia, and I all took part in the staff report on what the Lord has been doing in Shoreline CEF. We also informed them of some future events coming up in the area. Our second pie fellowship will be this month at Aetna Calvary Church in White Cloud.

Good News Club Supplies
We are so thankful for all those who gave through Koins for Kids and special gifts designated for our Good News Club ministries. Because of these gifts, we were able to purchase all these things for our clubbers. Please keep giving for our club ministry so we can continue to get items like these for our clubs.
Even though it is still winter, we are already thinking about summer. Last summer, we were able to have 17 5-Day Clubs in the Shoreline area, with 218 kids enrolled. Out of those children, we saw three pray to receive Christ as Savior. This summer, we are hoping that we will be able to have at least 20 clubs. If you had a club last year, and are interested in having another one, please contact our office. If you didn’t have a club, but would like to try to have one this year, contact our office for information on hosting a club. Will you pray about being a 5-Day Club® host or hostess?
Banquet
Mark your calendars and plan to attend our annual banquet on April 8. This year, we are going to have the banquet on a Saturday starting at 5 p.m. at First Baptist of Fremont. Our speaker will be Thomas Bump. We are planning, once again, to have a program for the children. Come and join us for a good time of food and fellowship, and hear what the Lord has done in Shoreline.
Pie Fellowship
Our next Pie Fellowship will be held February 16 at Aetna Calvary Church in White Cloud. This will be our last pie fellowship of the ministry year. If you were not able to make the first one, you are welcome to come to this. All the details are listed on the flyer on the back of this newsletter. Please plan to attend.
International Conference
The Child Evangelism Fellowship® International Conference is in May. We would like the Shoreline staff to attend. In order to do so, we need to raise $2,500 to cover conference fees, room and board, and travel expenses. We currently have $1,082 that has been given, leaving $1,418 more to raise. We all are now registered for this event, so pray that the rest of the funds will come in. If you want to give to this project, make your check payable to CEF® and put “conference” on the memo line.
