Shoreline Prayer and Praise

Praises: 

  • Had a great visit at First Baptist of Newaygo.  Had the opportunity to talk to different people about the Good News Club starting in Newaygo and about teacher training. 
  • A total of 23 new children started attending the Good News Clubs®  last week. 
  • The Banquet Program went well.  Had the opportunity to honor one of our volunteers and the people that completed Teaching Children Effectively level 1.
  • Got the approval to have Good News Club® at Newaygo Elementary School.
  • Wendy’s carpal tunnel surgery went great. 
  • More funds came in for Lizzie to go to CMI. 
  • We had a great start to the Shelby club with 11 children attending.

 

Prayer:

  • Finances for the chapter.     
  • We need more volunteers to join the committee this year.

  • That we can make new contacts with churches in the chapter. 
  • That more support will come in for Lizzie-Kate Potter. Both for monthly support and for Children’s Ministries Institute (CMI). She has 76% of what she needs for CMI.
  • Melody Rumble, Committee Member, as she heals from surgery. 
  • Wendy as shez heals from her carpal tunnel surgery.
  • For the Newaygo Good News Club that starts next Monday. Pray that many children will come.
