Shoreline Prayer and Praise

March 30, 2026

Praises:

  • Had a good visit to Elbridge Community Church.
  • Had great time with the teens in Grand Rapids that showed interest in Christian Youth in Action (CYIA™). There were a total of 23 teens there. 
  • The CYIA  meeting went very well.
  • More teens from around the state have turned in applications for CYIA
  • Had a new child attend Good News Club last week.
  • Opportunity to present Christian Youth in Action to 6 teens at Faith Fellowship in Hart. 

Prayer:

  • Finances for the chapter.     
  • We need more volunteers to join the committee this year.
  • For the nation of Israel.
  • Jim Draper, health issues.
  • Jennifer Syer, health issues. She is having some car issues as well. 
  • Southwell’s daughter, Rachel.
  • Rennee Vance, co-worker in the state, is having some health problems.
  • That we will make new contacts with churches in the chapter.   
  • For the Good News Club in Newaygo that will be meeting this week. It will be the final week for this club.

  • Trying to get opportunities to speak to youth groups and teens about summer ministries.
  • The Southwells are in need of new tires on their Ford Expedition.
  • Summer ministry planning. Our goal is to have 18 5-Day Clubs®. We are playing for 17 more. We want to try to get clubs in Grant, Baldwin, and Free Soil.
  • Planning for Christian Youth in Action this summer.
  • Teens to work with us this summer.
  • Our daughter Shelby, our son-in-law Josh, and the sick family. This past week Josh’s father, Dale, went home to be with the Lord.
