Shoreline Prayer and Praise

July 21, 2025

Praises: 

  • A total of 11 children attended two 5-Day Clubs last week.
  • We were able to give the gospel to 541 people at the Children’s Expo at the Gerber fest.
  • Had the opportunity to meet and talk to two new pastors in the chapter.
  • Had a great visit at Brohman Chapel. Had the opportunity to give a report on how things have been going so far in the summer.
  • Wendy’s physical therapy is doing well.
  • Had the opportunity to do ministry both at the Bitely Homecoming and Trout-a-Rama in Baldwin.
  • Skylar had a great doctor’s appointment. She no longer has to wear the boot on her foot.

Prayer:

  • Finances for the chapter.     
  • We need more volunteers to join the committee this year.
  • For the nation of Israel.
  • Jim Draper, health issues. Jim broke his jaw and will be having surgery this week. Pray that all goes well.
  • Jennifer Syer, health issues. Jennifer had to go to the hospital because of an infection.
  • Southwell’s daughter Rachel.
  • Clarissa Thomas, a former summer missionary, is having some health issues.
  • Skylar Crothers, a summer missionary, as she heals from her ankle surgery.
  • That we will make new contacts with churches in the chapter. 
  • Evlyn Bump has had some health issues. She is still experiencing pain from her knee surgery.
  • Volunteers for our fairs and festivals this summer. We need workers for this weekend.
  • Funds will continue to come in for Tamra Rumble to work as a summer intern.
  • Funds will continue to come in for the summer missionaries.
  • Martin Southwell, Sean and Wendy’s son, has been deployed. He will be gone for 11 months. Pray for safety.    
  • For more people to host a 5-Day Club this summer. We are hoping for at least 6 more clubs.
  • For the one 5-Day Club this week. The club will be at Brohman Chapel. 
  • For the people involved in the flooding in Texas. That the first responders will be safe while making recoveries.
  • For safety as we travel transporting summer missionaries to clubs.
  • That Wendy’s physical therapy will help relieve some of her pain.
  • For Lizzie-Kate as she is on vacation spending time with family. Pray for safety while she is traveling.
