July 20, 2026

Praises:

  • Had a great visit at New Beginnings Church yesterday. 
  • Had a great weekend of ministry at the Trout-a-rama Festival, and had the opportunity to share the gospel with 102 people. 
  • Had a great day of ministry at the Bitely Homecoming Fest, and had the opportunity to share the gospel with about 52 people. 
  • A total of 12 children attended our 5-Day Clubs last week. During which, two children prayed to receive Christ as Savior!
  • Ten children attended the soccer Party Club  last week.
  • Lizzie-Kate and Sean had opportunities to talk to people about CEF over the weekend.
  • Wendy made it safe to Kentucky to teach the Instructor of Teachers course. She had a great first week.

 Prayer:

  • Finances for the chapter. We are praying that the Lord will bring in $10,000 of general giving for the month of July.  
  • We need more volunteers to join the committee this year.
  • For the nation of Israel.
  • Jim Draper, health issues.
  • Jennifer Syer, health issues. She is having some car issues as well. 
  • Southwell’s daughter, Rachel.
  • That we will make new contacts with churches in the chapter.   
  • For volunteers to help in the fairs and festivals this summer. 
  • For Wendy as she teaches in  Instructor of Teachers® Level 1 in Kentucky. She is starting her second week today. She has several classes that she will be teaching. Our daughter Rachel will be heading down to pick her up on Friday. Please pray for safety for them there and back.
  • The Southwell’s car is having trouble with some overheating. Please pray that they will be able to fix this problem.
  • We have two 5-Day Clubs that will be meeting this week. The clubs will be in Newaygo and Shelby. Pray that children come to all of them.
  • For safety as we do a lot of traveling this summer doing ministry throughout the chapter.
  • For the one festival that we will be in this week. It’s the Gerber Festival in Fremont on Wednesday
  • That more funds will come in to get a new PC for Lizzie-Kate.
  • Karie Ash’s, the state director of Kentucky, father passed away over the weekend. Please pray for the family.
  • Shoreline CEF are the feature missionaries for Cornerstone Baptist Church VBS in Ludington. Sean will be there 4 out of the 5 days this week to talk to the children and other people at the VBS. Pray that all will go well.
