It is hard to believe that the summer is over, but what a fun and busy summer.  In our 5-Day Club^® ministry, we had a very full schedule. We had at least one club every week from the beginning of July through August. One week we had as many as six clubs. Half of these clubs were in areas where we have never had a club before. We are very thankful that the Lord opened up new areas for clubs. The clubs ranged as small as 2 to as large as 57.  This was the largest number of clubs that we have had since I have been the director in Shoreline. We praise the Lord for what He has done.

Fair Ministry 

During the month of August we had two fairs. The first was the Western Michigan Fair in Ludington. This year we were able set up outside instead of being in the commercial building, giving us more visibility. The fair itself had very low attendance. By the end of the week, we had 200 people come through to hear the Gospel. Our second was the Oceana County Fair in Hart. This fair was very well attended and the weather was good the entire time. At this fair, we had a total of 268 people come through with eight people receiving Christ. Our total for the fairs was 468 that came through with eight coming to know Christ as Savior.

 

Good News Clubs will soon begin. Our goal this year is to have 12 clubs throughout the chapter. We will have clubs starting the end of September and early October. Pray that all our clubs have a good start, and many children will come to know Christ as Savior. If you are interested in getting involved in a Good News Club^®, please contact our office.

 

 

U-Nite: A YouTube Channel for Kids

We are excited to announce a new YouTube channel that will share video content made for children! Now boys and girls can watch their favorite Child Evangelism Fellowship^® song videos.

Teacher Training

Attention children’s workers and people who want to work with children. We will be offering a Teaching Children Effectively™ course in February. This is a 33-hour course lasting four weeks. There will be a cost for this course.

We also have a course called Quick Start training. This is a video training that we can do as group or you can watch online. This one is free. If you would like to participate in one of these trainings, please contact our office to let us know which training you would prefer.  The location of the trainings will be determined at a later time.

International Conference

May 4-9, 2020 is the Child Evangelism Fellowship International Conference. This time we want to send our staff to the conference. It will cost $2,000 to be able to send all three of our staff members. Please be praying that we will be able to raise the funds needed for this conference
